Tuna Cheddar Melt Sliders

by

I went to the doc a few months ago. My BP and cholesterol were ridiculously high. I made some serious life changes that day. The next month I was sitting back at 130/54.

I bet it was all that bacon.

But now I drink more water, and wine instead of beer. I’ve substituted trail mixes for chips, cut out pork mostly, and just made better choices in general.

I feel happier, healthier, and still eat soooo good.

I’ll still smoke a Boston butt now and then.

These tuna cheddar melt sliders are guilt free, enough for me anyway.

Mix one can of drained tuna with a nice dollop of mayo (about 1 Tbsp.) and whatever seasonings you like. I am sure Greek yogurt would be an amazing substitute for the mayo!

I buy these Wonder dinner rolls that make perfect sliders. I also grabbed a block of cheddar and cut some fat little chunks out. But any shredded or sliced cheese, and slider buns will work.

This is such an easy recipe!

Assemble your sliders now. I cracked a little pepper on these, but normally I have some kind of delicious sauce I squirt in there.

Now butter up or slap a little mayo on top of those babies and toss a little seasoning on there. I am a cracked pepper fanboy.

Place them in a preheated skillet with a touch of olive oil in there. Bake at 350° for about 5-10 minutes (until browned on top).

Pull them out and let them cool for a few minutes. Now go enjoy this super quick & easy snack!
